수헌은 남측으로 펼쳐진 우로지 호수를 조망하며, 직원들의 업무와 도서관의 관리 기능이 집중된 차분한 공간입니다.

열람실의 습기제어를 위한 버퍼공간으로 작용함과 동시에, 자연과의 조화를 이루며 방문자들에게 휴식과 사색의 기회를 제공하는 조용한 공간으로 설계되었습니다.

문루(門樓): 북측 진입부와 커뮤니티 허브

문루는 북측 도로와 연결된 주 진입부를 통해 방문자를 맞이하며, 도서관의 메인 프로그램, 커뮤니티, 어린이 공간등을 배치하여 활발한 활동의 장으로 계획됩니다.

이 매스는 열린 진입 공간을 통해 도서관 내부와 도시를 자연스럽게 연결하며, 지역 주민들의 다양한 참여를 유도합니다.

Suheon (水軒): A Space Harmonized with Uroji Lake to the South

Overlooking Uroji Lake to the south, Suheon is a serene space dedicated to administrative and library management functions.

Designed as a peaceful retreat, it acts as a environmental buffer to control humidity for the reading rooms while offering visitors a quiet space for rest and reflection in harmony with nature.

Munru (門樓): Northern Entrance and Community Hub

Munru welcomes visitors through the main entrance connected to the northern road. It is planned as a dynamic hub featuring the library's main programs, community spaces, and children's areas.

Through its open entryway, this architectural mass naturally bridges the city with the library interior, encouraging active participation from the local community.
