고창 터미널은 이동과 머묾, 교류와 일상, 

공공성과 도시 흐름이 입체적으로 중첩되는 생활의 중심이 되어야 합니다.

우리는 이러한 복합적 기능을 ‘겹쳐진 공간, 열려진 중심 (Layered Void)’이라는 개념으로 응축하였습니다.

‘겹쳐진 공간’은 층마다 뚜렷하게 분화된 프로그램이 (버스터미널, 상업, 창업·업무, 지원시설, 주차)

도심의 필요와 시간의 흐름에 따라 독립되면서도 유기적으로 작동하는 입체적 도시 구조를 의미합니다.

The Gochang Terminal must become a center of life where movement and staying, exchange and daily life, and publicness and urban flow are three-dimensionally overlapped. We have condensed these complex functions into the concept of ‘Layered Void (Layered Space, Opened Center).’

‘Layered Space’ refers to a three-dimensional urban structure where programs clearly differentiated by floor (bus terminal, commerce, startup/business, support facilities, parking) operate independently yet organically according to the needs of the city center and the flow of time.
