하늘 교실 (Sky Lab) : 자연과 감각으로 배우는 입체 학습 공동체

에코1초등학교는 아이들이 자연과 감각, 관계 속에서 스스로 배우고 성장할 수 있는 미래형 학습환경을 목표로 계획되었습니다. 본 계획은 ‘하늘교실 _ Sky Lab’이라는 개념 아래, 학습 공간의 수평적 배치와 더불어 수직적 확장성을 동시에 담고자 하였습니다.

세 개의 중정은 각기 다른 교실 클러스터를 연결하며, 복도, 계단, 옥상으로 이어지는 순환 구조 속에서 자연과 만나는 일상의 배움을 실현합니다. 옥상은 텃밭, 야외교실, 놀이마당으로 구성되어 실내 학습과 실외 활동이 유기적으로 이어지며, 학교 전체가 하나의 입체적인 생태 학습 시스템으로 작동하도록 구성하였습니다.

Eco 1 Elementary School was planned with the goal of creating a future-oriented learning environment where children can learn and grow on their own through nature, senses, and relationships. Under the concept of ‘Sky Lab,’ this plan seeks to incorporate both the horizontal arrangement of learning spaces and their vertical scalability.

Three courtyards connect different classroom clusters, realizing everyday learning that meets nature within a circular structure leading to corridors, stairs, and the rooftop. The rooftop consists of a vegetable garden, outdoor classrooms, and a play yard, organically connecting indoor learning and outdoor activities, and is configured so that the entire school operates as one three-dimensional ecological learning system.
