중정을 매개로 회전하는 네 개의 배움의 날개

고덕3초등학교의 배치는 중앙 실내광장을 중심으로 네 개의 주요 매스(교사동 A·B, 실내광장동, 강당동)가 바람개비처럼 펼쳐지는 순환형 구조로 계획되었습니다. 이러한 구성은 공간 간 단절을 최소화하고, 수직·수평 연결이 입체적으로 이뤄지는 유기적 교육 네트워크를 실현합니다.

학교의 주 출입은 동측 진입도로에서 실내광장으로 이어지는 명확한 중심축을 형성하고 있으며, 이는 교사동 A·B 및 복합 커뮤니티 기능들과 자연스럽게 연결됩니다. 북측에는 차량 동선, 하역, 조리실, 주차장 등 기능적 영역이 집중되어 학생 보행 동선과 완전히 분리되며, 남측에는 운동장과 학교숲을 배치하여 학습과 자연, 정서가 어우러지는 열린 환경을 제공합니다.

전체 매스는 실내광장을 기준으로 사방으로 열린 순환형 네트워크로 엮여 있어 모든 주요 시설이 광장과 연계된 하나의 커뮤니티 공간으로 기능하며, 특히 광장 매스를 남측으로 살짝 돌출 배치함으로써, 교사동 전면에 테라스형 외부 공간이 형성되어 채광 확보와 향후 확장 가능성까지 고려한 가변적 구조를 실현합니다.

The layout of Godeok 3 Elementary School is planned as a circular structure where four main masses (School Buildings A and B, the Indoor Plaza Building, and the Auditorium Building) spread out like a pinwheel around a central indoor plaza. This configuration minimizes disconnection between spaces and realizes an organic educational network where vertical and horizontal connections occur three-dimensionally.

The main entrance of the school forms a clear central axis leading from the eastern access road to the indoor plaza, which naturally connects with School Buildings A and B and the complex community functions. Functional areas such as vehicle circulation, unloading, the kitchen, and the parking lot are concentrated on the north side to be completely separated from student pedestrian paths, while the playground and school forest are placed on the south side to provide an open environment where learning, nature, and emotion harmonize.

The entire mass is woven into a circular network open in all directions based on the indoor plaza, allowing all major facilities to function as a single community space linked to the plaza. In particular, by placing the plaza mass slightly protruding to the south, terrace-type outdoor spaces are formed in front of the school buildings, realizing a flexible structure that ensures natural lighting and considers future expansion possibilities.
