From Line to Curve _ 도시의 선, 사람의 곡선

달성 비슬 도서관은 도시의 질서 속에서 시작하여, 사람과 자연을 향해 부드럽게 굽어지는 하나의 선(線) 입니다.  서측의 직선 매스는 대구 신청사로 이어지는 도시의 체계를 담고 있으며,

그 선은 북측의 포산공원을 향해 점차 관계의 곡선(curve) 으로 전환됩니다. 이 변화는 단순한 형태의 왜곡이 아니라, 이성에서 감성으로, 구조에서 관계로 나아가는 공공건축의 태도를 상징합니다.

곡선의 품 안에는 광장과 중정, 산책길이 이어지며, 시민의 일상이 자연과 어우러져 하나의 풍경으로 완성됩니다.

Dalseong Biseul Library is a single line that begins within the order of the city and bends softly toward people and nature. The linear mass on the west contains the urban system leading to the Daegu New City Hall, and that line gradually transitions into a curve of relationships toward Posan Park to the north. This change is not a simple distortion of form, but symbolizes the attitude of public architecture moving from reason to emotion, and from structure to relationship. Within the embrace of the curve, plazas, courtyards, and trails are connected, completing the daily lives of citizens as a single landscape harmonized with nature.
