1. Your drawings stay in your workspace

PA Sketch is a drawing and modeling tool for iPad and Mac. Independent sketching does not require an account. The current app does not automatically send your drawings to a developer-operated cloud service. It contains no advertising SDK, developer analytics SDK or cross-app tracking.

Projects, layers, tracing images, imported models and autosaves are stored in the app's storage on your device. You choose whether to export or share a copy. If you select iCloud Drive or another storage provider, that provider's terms and privacy practices apply. Device backups may also include app data, depending on your device and backup settings.

2. Optional connections to your computer

When you connect to Rhino or AutoCAD, PA Sketch and the companion module on the computer you select exchange drawing geometry, document identifiers and model state. Rhino view synchronization can also exchange the view and selection. The computer's original drawing may be edited by these actions. This connection does not automatically send those files to Prompt Architects.

Connection addresses and settings are stored on the device. Pairing credentials used to reconnect are stored in the device keychain. New Rhino QR pairing uses TLS with the computer's public-key verification. Legacy manual-code and AutoCAD connections are not described as having identical encryption; use them only on a trusted local network.

3. Permissions

Camera access is used when you choose to scan a Rhino pairing QR. Camera video for QR scanning is not uploaded to a developer server. Local-network access is used to discover and connect to your chosen computer. You can decline these permissions and use independent sketching. Photos or files you select as tracing references are processed as part of your project.

4. Support and beta testing

If you contact us, we process your sender/contact details and the message or files you voluntarily provide to answer your request. Please send a short description first and remove confidential client material, pairing QR codes, authentication codes and tokens. Support records are kept only as needed to resolve and follow up on the request or meet applicable recordkeeping duties. You can request access, correction or deletion through the contact above; legal retention duties may limit deletion.

When a build is distributed through TestFlight, Apple processes installation, session, crash and tester-feedback information under its own policies. Developers may access the information Apple makes available and feedback you submit. A screenshot or file attached to feedback may reveal project details. These beta-testing activities are separate from the app's local drawing storage.

5. Retention and deletion

Projects remain until you delete them or remove app storage. Export a .pasketch backup before deleting or reinstalling the app. Delete exported copies separately in the storage service you selected. Revoke a paired device in the computer's companion module to remove its connection permission. Uninstalling the app is not a promise to erase exported files, computer models or every keychain item. Support data is managed separately as described above.

6. Other services and changes

Opening a company page, sending email, choosing cloud storage or submitting TestFlight feedback uses the service you select and may involve processing in other countries under that service's policies. PA Sketch has no developer account to delete and does not provide a public user-content service. If data handling changes, the policy and relevant permission or consent flow will be updated before that change is introduced.
